“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:1

“This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:12

“When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.” Matthew 2: 10,11

Vaak wordt de periode rondom Kerst gezien als een tijd van reflectie, maar ook de start van iets nieuws. Jezus kwam immers naar de aarde als hoop voor de wereld. Deze 5 Bijbelteksten sluiten daar mooi bij aan.
